Starlit Mirror reads a real birth chart, computed from the Swiss Ephemeris for the exact moment and place you were born. Mira reads it three ways at once, Western, Vedic and Hellenistic, and tells you where the three traditions disagree about you rather than flattening them into one answer. The conversation is free to start; the written readings are what you keep. If you would rather read before you ask, the method is written up in full, and who is behind it is a page, not a mystery.
Most astrology online starts from your birth date and stops there. A birth date gives you a Sun sign, which is one placement out of the forty or so a full chart contains. Starlit Mirror starts from the whole chart. The exact minute and the exact place, resolved to coordinates, computed on the Swiss Ephemeris from the same JPL planetary data professional observatories use. What comes out is not a horoscope written for a twelfth of the world. It is one sky, at one moment, over one spot on Earth.
You give Mira your birth date, time and place, and she computes the chart before she says anything about it. Then you ask her things, and she answers from the placements actually in front of her. If your birth time is unknown or approximate she tells you which parts of the reading that weakens, rather than guessing quietly. The conversation is free to start. Written readings go further and are yours to keep.
Western, Vedic and Hellenistic astrology are three living traditions reading the same sky with different instruments. Western uses the tropical zodiac, anchored to the seasons. Vedic uses the sidereal zodiac, anchored to the fixed stars, and the two sit about 24 degrees apart, which is why your Vedic Sun is often one sign back from your Western one. Hellenistic is the older Greco-Roman technique, built on sect, dignity and timing rather than psychology. Mira runs all three on your chart and shows you both results: where they converge, which is where you can be confident, and where they contradict each other, which is usually the more interesting part.
